Merit Answers: Hooked on Phonics helped my child to read - but her reading comprehension is lacking

My child has been using hooked on Phonics and is a good reader but her reading comprehension is lacking. She has to re-read the same texts over and over to understand them. She is in 3rd grade. Do you have any programs that can help her?

Thank you for contacting us. Merit Software has helped many students increase their reading comprehension skills and I'm sure we can do the same for your child.
Our best programs for her level are Reading Comprehension Booster and Reading Shape-Up Set 1. Since Reading Shape-up 1 is the easiest program, I suggest she completes that one first. Good luck!
