High School Students need help with Reading Comprehension

I have 17 9th and 10th grade students who scored low on the reading comprehension of the TAP test. They are not motivated to improve their skills. I need activities to help them improve.

ANSWER:

Merit software has helped many high school students improve their reading comprehension and vocabulary skills.

The most popular programs for this purpose are Developing Critical Thinking Skills for Effective Reading for Upper Grades and Vocabulary Stretch.

Developing Critical Thinking Skills for Upper Grades helps students improve their reading comprehension and develops their ability to make inferences. It is designed for students who read at a 8th to 11th grade level.

Vocabulary Stretch is vocabulary-building software that helps students recognize words in different contexts and understand where many English words come from. It is designed for students in grades 4 through 10.
