My son readily admits he has difficulty staying focused when reading. When he can struggle through, he can understand what he just read and can correctly answer questions if given immediately after the reading. A day or two later is a real struggle.

Our most popular program for this purpose is Developing Critical Thinking Skills for Effective Reading for Upper Grades. The program helps students improve their reading comprehension and develops their ability to make inferences. It is designed for students who read at 8th through 11th grade levels.
