Customer Feedback – GED Prep Bundle

“Your product is easy to use. The students enjoy using it daily,” remarks an instructor at Heald College Learning Resource Center in Hayward, CA, about Merit Software’s GED Prep Bundle.

This bundle targets subject areas and competencies on the 2005 GED exam. It contains teaching activities to help students gain problem-solving strategies and test-taking skills. Interactive feedback helps students to gauge their own skill levels and GED-readiness. Texts and graphics will appeal to older students.

The programs will benefit students preparing for the GED exam, or beginning to prepare for the ACT. Learn more at:

Recommended Resource – Grammar Check Needs Checking

A professor at the University of Washington critiques Microsoft Word’s Grammar Check on his web site. Sample writing problems commonly missed by Grammar Check, such as incorrect capitalization and sentence fragments, are provided. This site is a good resource for teachers wishing to demonstrate that there is no real substitute for proofreading and editing.
