New research report shows Merit reading and language arts programs deliver higher middle school test scores. The study, using random assignment, showed that students performed better on the state's standardized test when using Merit in conjunction with regular classroom instruction for 24 weeks.

In the News - Research Supports 'Personalized Learning' for Children

Adults with literacy and numeracy problems show signs of difficulties as early as five years old and need to receive remedial help, new research has shown. The longitudinal study tracked the lives of 17,196 people since they were born in 1970. The findings suggest that providing personalized learning at an early age will prevent problems later on.

Grants for US Educators - Doodle 4 Google

Google has launched a Doodle 4 Google competition that invites children at US schools to design a Google logo on the open-ended theme, "What If...?". The winning design will be used as Google's logo on the 22 May, with the artist receiving $10,000 towards a college education. The winning child's school will also win a $25,000 technology grant.
