What's New - Reading Comprehension Booster

Merit Software has released Reading Comprehension Booster. This new reading program was created at the request of teachers asking for an introductory version of Developing Critical Thinking Skills designed for elementary school students.

Students receive practice in using basic reading improvement strategies. They work with interactive exercises to determine main idea, make inferences, and draw conclusions.

Customer Feedback - Developing Critical Thinking Skills for Effective Reading

"The software all looks good. We use it in a classroom for student skills training as a supplement at least once a week," remarks an educator at Wheeler High School in Marietta, GA, about Merit Software's Developing Critical Thinking Skills for Effective Reading.

This program enhances reading comprehension. Students practice the fundamentals of identifying main ideas and sequence, drawing inferences, and understanding vocabulary words by using textual clues. Teachers may track student progress and create reports.
