What's New - Minority Test Scores Improve Using Merit Software

New research shows that teaching with Merit math software increased standardized test scores for students in all ethnic groups. Minority student test scores in the treatment group increased just as much as those of Caucasian students. The results of this research are particularly important, because educators are now under greater scrutiny to help minority students.

The Associated Press found that the test scores of nearly 2 million children aren't counted when it comes to meeting the NCLB requirement that schools track how students of different races perform on standardized tests.
