What's New - Merit Writing Skills Software Cited by California Learning Resource Network

The California Learning Resource Network (CLRN) cites three Merit Software writing programs as resources for 3rd-12th grade students needing skill development and practice: Starter Paragraph Punch, Paragraph Punch and Essay Punch. CLRN concludes that Merit’s Punch software meets review criteria for California’s state content standards.

Starter Paragraph Punch, Paragraph Punch and Essay Punch help students compose effective paragraphs and essays. Process writing is broken down into short steps. Prompts guide students through developing ideas, focusing on a topic, and publishing.
