How is the course structured?
A trained instructor who provides support throughout the course and moderates a bulletin-board style online discussion leads each course. Each course lasts twelve to fourteen weeks. Participants have flexibility but are expected to participate in the online discussions, oversee their students use of Merit as a supplement to their in-class instruction, and write a paper summarizing their observations.

How much time will I need for a course each week?
Your students' time using Merit will count towards the amount of time spent on the course. Most participants say their students spend 2 to 3 hours a week on the software.
