Provides a hands-on review of the parts of speech. Topics covered are: nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions.

Students may work on specific skills as well as in a mixed practice format. Constructive help and feedback is provided throughout.

Students are able to track their improvement through progress-to-date and last session scores. Scores are kept in a record management system that allows teachers to monitor their students, learning.

The questions, answers and explanations of the program can be spoken aloud by using the Merit Text Talker.

Designed for students in grades 6 through 10 (ages 11 and up), the software can also be used by English language learners and older students.
