Students receive practice in using basic reading improvement strategies and learn how to write organized answers to open-ended questions. Assessments test students understanding of passages. Students work with interactive exercises to improve vocabulary, determine main idea, and make inferences. Then they are guided through the steps of writing answers to questions based on the texts. Scores are automatically kept in a record management system that allows teachers to view and print detailed reports.
