Helps students master how to apply reading comprehension skills to science content. Includes comprehension, application, analysis, and evaluation questions based on illustrated texts.

Students are able to track their progress and print results. Scores are kept in a record management system that allows teachers to view and print reports.

The questions, answers and explanations of the programs can be spoken aloud by using the Merit Text Talker.

Designed for students in grades 9 through 12 (age 14 and up), the software can also be used by GED and adult students interested in improving their reading skills.

• Contains 10 texts and 100 questions.
• Contextual help and feedback will engage students of all ages.
• Students choose from a menu of reward animations and sounds.
• All student work is stored in the Teacher Program Manager.
• Content can be spoken aloud by using the Merit Text Talker.
