1. Is this real networkable software?
Yes. Our networking programs are complete client/server applications.
All files are installed on the server; only shortcuts are installed
on student computers.

2. Is your software compatible with Windows NT,
2000, 2003 and XP?
Yes.

3. Is your software compatible with Novell NetWare?
Yes.

4. Does your software work with Citrix MetaFrame?
Yes.

5. Does your networkable software work over the
Internet?
No. It will work over dedicated, wide-area intranets, but not
the Internet.

6. Do I need a dedicated server?
No.

7. What permissions do my students need on the
network?
Students need Read and Execute access to the MeritAV folder and
its sub-folders, and Read and Write access to the record files
directory. They do not need Administrator or Super User permissions.

8. What permissions do teachers need on the network?
Teachers need Read and Execute access to the MeritAV folder and
its sub-folders, and Read and Write access to the record files
directory. Teachers also need to know passwords and how to run
the Teacher Program Manager. They do not need Administrator or
Super User permissions.

9. Can I add more concurrent users or licenses
later?
Licenses may be increased to expand the number of concurrent
users. Additional Merit programs may be added at any time.
