What is the best way to start with Merit Software?
1. Do I need to purchase a license for each computer in my classroom, lab, or building?
No. For flexibility we offer a choice of licenses. You need to purchase only the license that will cover the maximum number of students who might be concurrently logged on to a program.
For example, if a group of 10 students at one time will be working on a program in a lab that consists of 35 computers and one server, then only a 10 Station license is needed.

2. Are upgrades included when we buy Merit Software
products?
Minor updates and bug fixes are included. We guarantee that the
software you buy will work on your system.
We are continually working to enhance our software. Our upgrades
incorporate new technology and improved educational content. Previous
owners of Merit Software may purchase upgrades at a discount.
The percentage of the discount depends on several variables. Contact
us for specific details.
3. Do you offer a service contract?
No. Our software is offered on a one-time fee basis. All technical
support is free. Training is rarely needed, but we will be happy
to answer any questions you might have when using our software.

4. Do you have a guarantee?
All Merit Software programs guarantee results in 30 days or your
money back.

5. What is the best way to start with Merit Software?
Most people who come to us have an idea of where they need help. To help find the right program for you we have sorted our products by grade level and type of student based on input received from customers.
As you are browsing the site, please take a look at our "Punch" programs. These programs take students through the process of organizing their thoughts and creating clear written works. The activities in the "Punch" programs cannot be replicated without the use of a computer. We often hear praise about them from teachers and tutors.
