Male student, 42 years old, tested at reading 4th grade diagnosed with dyslexia, has never had any help, writing is also very bad

ANSWER:

Merit has helped many older students build their reading skills. In particular, Reading Shape-Up has been very effective with dyslexics.

Reading Shape-Up helps students master specific reading skills: main idea, vocabulary, sequence, fact-opinion, factual recall, and inference.

A tutorial introduces each concept. Students receive help and contextual feedback while they work through the program.

The program is written for students reading at a 3rd through 8th grade level.
