My daughter just took her placement tests for college. She did well in math, sentence structure, and essay. She needed a 78 in reading comprehension but got a 51.
Do you have a general reading comprehension program for her age group?
Thanks for your inquiry. We've helped many college bound students improve their reading comprehension.
Our most popular program for this purpose is Developing Critical Thinking Skills for Effective Reading for Upper Grades. The program helps students improve their reading comprehension and develops their ability to make inferences. It is designed for students who read at 8th through 11th grade levels.
Accu-Reading may also be useful too. It focuses on specific reading comprehension skills such as main idea, vocabulary and inference. It is also for students reading at a 8 through 11 grade level.
