Group of young eager boys whose mother tongue and the language spoken at home is not English. They will be first generation speakers. They do not read other than the text. I am searching for something that can stimulate their language skills. i.e.grammatical and creative writing. I have given them story outlines and they have created extraordinary tales, but the grammatical errors still continue. Past tense- past perfect... I had gone, I went. etc, (when does one use the simple past and the past perfect?) etc
