QUESTION:
Area of Concern: Writing Mechanics & Grammar
Submitted by: Teacher
Grade Level: ESL Students
Competency: At Level
I’m a non-native English teacher and what I do every day is explain English grammar & vocabulary and correct my students’ mistakes. As I’ve been doing it for several years, I know typical mistakes that people of my language can make. But unfortunately, I know nothing about typical mistakes that natives can make when they 1) learn English at school, 2) speak the language just in life. Do you have a way to explain typical mistakes and help my students learn not to make them?
ANSWER:
Our most popular program for this purpose is Grammar Fitness. It helps students learn to master troublesome points of English grammar, usage and diction.
The Grammar Fitness exercises cover a wide span of grammar concepts from beginning to advanced levels. The program’s built-in tutoring and scoring features create a personal grammar improvement experience for each student and monitor progress for instructors.
