On our state test my students scored very low in the writing section. I’ve been reviewing writing techniques with them, but clearly I need to do more. Any ideas about what I can do to help with them?

We’ve helped many students improve their writing skills.
Our best programs for this purpose are Paragraph Punch and Starter Paragraph Punch. In each program students choose from a menu of topics, develop an idea, and create their own original work. Students are guided through the complete writing process: pre-writing, writing, organizing, revising, editing and publishing.
With Starter Paragraph Punch students learn to write a basic paragraph developed through reason, detail, example, and sequence. Paragraph Punch is for older students and covers the same concepts plus cause and effect writings.
