The reading levels in my class range from 4th to 11th grade. Our school has 60% English language learners. How can I challenge each of them at their own level?

ANSWER:

Merit has helped many teachers whose students have wide spans of reading abilities.

Our best products for this situation are the Intensive Reading Web Suite and Developing Critical Thinking Skills for Upper Grades.

The Intensive Reading Web Suite provides comprehension and vocabulary activities for students ranging between 3rd through 8th grade equivalent reading levels.

Developing Critical Thinking Skills for Upper Grades covers materials for students reading at a 8th to 11th grade reading level.

Both programs are self-paced and adaptive. High interest passages, built-in context clues, and automatic tracking engage older students.
