Adding Merit Software to regular classroom instruction gives teachers the tools they need to provide quality Tier I instruction.
At Tier 1 Classroom Interventions are implemented. The classroom teacher or team set benchmarks to identify struggling pupils and begins to collect data, which will be used to modify teaching strategies.
Merit helps teachers evaluate student progress and modify their teaching strategy. Student work is tracked, in real-time while students work. Ongoing assessment occurs in the background allowing teachers to continuously monitor student progress, provide feedback and modify their teaching strategy to match student needs.
