The Teacher Program Manager is free with any purchase of our software. It is automatically installed when you install your program.
Student records are created only after a student has begun to use a program. Once created, the records will be stored in the location that was designated during the installation procedure.
Student records always have the file extension .MAV (i.e., pp1.MAV). The best way to find them is to do a search for files which have an .MAV extension. Student records are opened in the Teacher Program Manager, the central record management program for all Merit software.
Merit Software student records are stored in files that have an .mav extension. The first time a Merit Software program is played on a computer, a dialog box appears where the location for storing these files can be selected. Your selection will become the default configuration for all Merit Software programs that you subsequently install to your machine. To find the student record files use Find from the Windows start menu and search for .MAV files. You will get a list of all the .mav files on your computer. Double-click the file you wish to view.
